Will Pruitt is an Indianapolis-based student journalist and writer studying political science at Indiana University Indianapolis. His interests include Indiana politics, law, public policy, criminal justice and the institutions that shape public life.

In 2026, Pruitt received IU Indianapolis's Winslow Prize in Political Theory for his essay “Judgment in an Unreal World.”

His reporting focuses on making politics and public policy understandable and relevant, with a particular interest in how decisions made by governments and institutions affect young Hoosiers and their communities.
